    ModoPOP can be deployed either as a easy-to-implement SaaS solution for smaller to mid-size businesses who process payments online, or as a licensed software solution with bespoke implementations for large enterprises. If you are an enterprise with more complex payment needs, contact us for more information here.

  • Is Modo Payments a PSP or another type of direct participant in the payments ecosystem?

    No. ModoPayments is a software company that provides software that manages the payment process. We are not a direct participant in the movement of money.

  • Does ModoPOP keep customer data?

    No. We utilize data that informs how we process your transactions as quickly and smoothly as possible, but we do not receive or retain any customer data. We retain details of transactional data, absent any PII, and share that with you.

  • Is ModoPOP secure?

    Yes. We hold ourselves to rigorous security standards to conform to the strict requirements of our clients, who include both global banks and enterprises. We abide by PCI Level 1 compliance with vaulted, encrypted data. If you need more information about our security practices, contact us.

  • What are the technical capabilities I need to use ModoPOP?

    Our ModoPOP SaaS solution currently requires our members to be using WooCommerce and Stripe API for payment processing. We are expanding to include other ecommerce platforms and payment service providers (PSPs), so stay tuned!  You can sign up for product updates here.
